Love this recording: the drums just punch! Perhaps, it is the one-drummer-does-not-muddy-the-sound theory in action.
Really like the Black Throated Wind and the Playin'. And it was just the right length show to finish up some last minute work to.

yes- amazing recording! may '74 seems to have it's own special sound and this is one of the best examples. and this recording has bobby and keith panned L/R with jerry in the middle, which i personally prefer to the jerry-bob-keith mix that was often used (and reflected the stage layout). but yeah, great show and excellent sound. i love the NFA from this show- one of my favorite versions of the year. jerry kills it.
